About the event
We will be running a swim-a-thon for the brave on the winter solstice to raise funds for Books for Bobby. Â
We have the following distances to choose from:
1) Jetty to the net and back - 150m (Marlins/Dolphins)
2) 1 length of the netted area - 300m (Dolphins/Sharks)
3) 1 length and return in the netted area - 600m (All intermediate squads)
4) 2 return lengths of the netted area - 1.2km (Age Devos/Performance/Masters)
5) For the truly crazy - Jetty to Jetty - 1.4km (Age Devos/Performance/Masters)
6) No words for these people - Jetty to Jetty and return - 2.8km (Performance/Masters)
Flippers and Wet-Suites are allowed. Â The more assistance you choose, consider a longer distance :)
